Cancer Information Centre

Our information service is open to anyone affected by cancer - patients, their families, friends and carers. We can be contacted in person, by telephone, email or post.

Our intention is to help reinforce and support the information given by doctors and other health professionals. We do this by providing access to an extensive range of practical, useful and up-to-date information. This can help to alleviate anxiety and stress, as people feel better informed about their illness.

People are welcome to drop in to the Information Centre and browse. Pam, our Information Officer, or one of the team, will be happy to help. We will take time to find out exactly what you need to know, to make sure that you have the right information.

For those who do not have internet access at home, we have a computer that people can use to find up-to-date information. We can give support to help ensure that the information you find is reliable and accurate.

Pam has an extensive knowledge of local and national organisations and services. She can point you in the right direction to find the support you need.

Our information service can be used by health professionals, students and anyone interested in finding out more about cancer.

You can contact us by phone on 01384 231232 or email.
